Mom and I were driving home yesterday from Salem and we
heard on the radio “Spirit in the Sky” by Norman Greenbaum. This is one of
those songs that I automatically remember it being in my all-time favorite
movie Remember the Titans. I used to
know what every song was in pretty much every scene of the movie. But it has been awhile since I have seen the
movie. I went online today and was
trying to find the scene where they sing “Spirit in the Sky.” I didn’t remember
it being this scene so I think that means I need to watch the movie again. :)
I remember the very first time I watched Remember the
Titans. I was 12 and in the 6th grade. I’m not sure what the reasoning for watching
the movie was but I sure am glad our class was able to watch it. I was then trying to remember all the movies
that I ended up watching in school from 6th grade until I was a senior. The ones I can remember.

What is your favorite movie? Did you watch as many movies as
I did in high school? Let me know in the comments. Have a great day!

Katey,
ReplyDeleteLet's see, I remember watching Science Guy in school. Don't remember watching fun movies like the ones you seen. I loved many of ones you seen. Titan's, a favorite and Monte Cristo too. We need to watch them soon. Did anyone notice Ryan Gosling, he looked so young? Love Denzel Washington.
I think we might have watched The Pelican Brief during Government or Economics. I also remember watching Remember the Titans, Mr. Smith goes to Washington, Shakespeare movies in English like: Hamlet and Much ado About Nothing.
